One of the founding members of Bumpcafe, Dj Draw is motivated to bring together a powerful roster of extremely talented musicians. A native Kalamazoo Michigan resident relocated to Chicago in 2001. Music and art have driven his career. Dj Draw has been Djing since 1995 all over the Midwest, he starting out banging house parties that eventually evolved into club residencies, and performing at large scale rave parties. Since 2002 Dj Draw has helped host multiple events with his long time friend and co founder of Bumpcafe John Luna.

Before exploring his passion for DJing Dj Draw studied percussion for 10 years and has also been known to drop some analog Korg and Roland midi sequencers and keyboard performances with live bands. His live music background pushes his production and live events to the next level.

At his core Dj Draw is a party rocking DJ. While striving to maintain vinyl sets and help promote and keep the record industry alive, he is at home on cd or digital interfaces. His sets range from deep or funky house, hard hitting techno, to acid jazz over melodic hip hop beats. You never know what will grace your ears on the dance floor, but his selections are guaranteed to make you move!

He has Dj'd along side top name artists and coordinated events that included many of his influences like, Hyperactive, Punisher, Dj Rap, Lego, FLX, Dj Jes, Frankie Vega, John Simmons, Michael Serafini, Mazi, Gabriel Palomo, Mike Huckaby, CZ Boogie, Lokua, Brian Gardner, Jevon Jackson, Lady D, Rees Urban, and Jody Molina.

Dj Draw produces his own tracks in his home studio. His professional background in audio and video production have allowed him to produce high impact sound design, music and videos for multiple video game trailers, cinematics, television commercials and DVD production.

A natural progression to video production and djing has allowed Dj Draw to build a unique Video Dj (VJ) portfolio that is sure to please any crowd. Dj Draw is truely and artist through and through, creating spectacular aniimations, visual effects, and high impact video compositing, sync'd in real time to his extremely motivating DJ sets.
